Contract manufacturing is the term used when customers ask to manufacture products from a formula supplied by them or when an independent manufacturer adapts or reproduces an established formula. All contract-manufactured products completely correspond to the technological cycle and quality control as consisted with the customer. Fasteko is a Fastwel group company, which provides a full cycle of manufacturing service. We are ready to offer our customers the entire service package related to product development, certification, components acquisition and ready-made products manufacturing. Our enterprise is constantly developing. Fasteko production process is being continuously improved, lead by the most advanced manufacturing technologies and standards. Our facilities completely meet all quality and equipment requirements. Fasteko uses modern technological devices from famous world manufacturers and unique SMT and THT equipment from ASSEMBLEON - the world leader in assembly lines production. Our manufacturing facility in Moscow is a modern enterprise equipped with the most advanced climate control system from CLIMA; an autonomous purified compressed air supply system based on Atlas Copco compressors; high purity nitrogen supply system for HOTFLOW 7 and N-WAVE 400 ovens. As a part of our process line, we use an X-ray soldering quality inspection system from PHOENIX-XRAY for 100% quality control. Unlike visual control systems, X-ray-control makes it possible to determine potential acceptability of the product. Fasteko has an up-to-date efficient repair and rework center. FINEPLACER convection system allows precise mounting and dismounting of electronic components and PCB repair. We perform operations on printed boards with multipin components (pitch less than 0.5 mm), BGA and Flip Chip packages. Besides, our technologies allow BGA-components restoring and repair. Since June 2005 Fastwel introduced a new highly automated SMT line, which, together with the existing lines, allows to set automatically all types of components at the optimum speed and with required accuracy. The new line’s features are set in order to increase the technological and economic efficiency of standard products manufacturing. Now, optimum distribution of orders makes it possible to produce the whole range of electronic equipment: from common modules with 10 to 30 mounted components manufactured in large quantities, up to sophisticated Pentium M / 2 GHz based Compact PCI processor modules, designed by Fastwel at the beginning of 2005. The line, brought into operation in 2005, is oriented to products’ quality improvement. The control system, designed to test the quality of assembled electronic modules, is equipped with automatic inspection and repair station with a laser indicator, which made it possible to achieve 99,99% of quality product yield. This figure is quite high both for Russian and foreign SMT-related companies manufacturing a wide range of products. Reflow Convection soldering system is assigned for lead-free technology, which allows Fastwel to keep the leadership among contract and standard products manufacturers in Russia and correspond to world environmental standards. An additional workplace for program processing has made manufacturing uninterruptible thus providing the opportunity to extend the range of Fastwel products. At the assembly rate of 40 000 components per hour, within the two-shift working schedule, Fastwel can produce from 500 to 5 000 (depending on complexity) electronic modules per day, therefore up to 100 000 units per month, which allows to meet our customers’ growing demands.
