Fastwel was founded in 1997 by the group of aerospace developers and engineers.

From the very beginning Fastwel positioned itself as a developer and manufacturer of electronics for mission critical applications. The first project was connected with popular Micro PC format boards development. Fastwel started their distribution in 1998.

In 2000-2001 Fastwel together with “Zheldorkonsalting” company designed Geode based industrial Pentium class processors for automatic train driving system.

Achieved by 2000 high technological level made quality serial production of Fastwel products at any Russian enterprise impossible. In this connection it was decided to arrange own manufacturing facility.

In April 2002 the first processor module CPC103 was produced on the most cutting-edge assembly line of that time in Russia. Since then the whole range of products is being produced at Fastwel own manufacturing facility.

At the same time the company launched a new line of activity – electronic modules custom manufacturing. It was called “contract manufacturing”. This activity allowed the company to become a pioneer in this sphere in Russia.

In 2003 the company quality management system was certificated in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standard by the international certificate authority TUV CERT.

In september 2003 a research satellite “Mozhaets” was launched bearing Fastwel CPC101 processor module on board.

In 2004 Joint Stock Company “Russian Railways” introduced developed by Fastwel passengers and driver address system used in Moscow local trains.

By the end of 2004, PC/104 and AT96 products development was finished and their mass production was started.

2005 was distinguished with the production of new CompactPCI Intel Pentium M based processor modules.

At the same time the application of new train driving system CHS7 and VL10 began.

The increasing demand for contract manufacturing services motivated company management to create a new independent trademark Fasteko. Nowadays, Fasteko is the leader of contract manufacturing and one of the most prominent electronics manufacturers in Russia.

• has more than 1000 customers;
• produces over 40 000 devices per year;
• has annual production growth over 30%.
